Jim Brown

Jim Brown began his mortgage sales career in 1985 as a loan officer with C.M. Brown and Co. in Springfield, NJ. He would later found Greenwich Home Mortgage with Tim Maher in 1993. Beginning in 2008, Jim managed retail loan originations at Investors Bank and NJ Lenders Corp. before joining the Luminate team in 2025.
Over the course of his career, Jim has earned a reputation for his tenacity. He earned the Circle of Excellence award and #1 Top Producing Loan Officer designation from 1985 to 1993. In addition, Jim managed teams of Loan Originators averaging over 1.1 billion in annual closed loan volume from 1993 through today.

Outside of work, Jim has been happily married for over 35 years and enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
